A note
from
Dr. Natalie
I know what it’s like to feel nervous speaking French and worried you’ll sound too formal. When I first started learning French, I felt the same way. My French was grammatically correct, but stiff, and I struggled to follow conversations with native speakers.
It wasn’t until university, when I began speaking French daily, that something clicked. I realized that the key to speaking naturally isn't just about knowing more grammar. It's about understanding the vocabulary and expressions that real people use every day, especially everyday slang.
And here's the good news: You don’t need to pack your bags and move to France or Québec to get there.
With over 11 years of experience teaching French, plus a BA and MA in French and PhD in language teaching, I’ve helped adult learners break out of the “textbook French" bubble and feel more at ease in real conversations.
Whether you’re learning French for travel, work, or just because you love it, my goal is to help you speak a French that's more natural, more human, and more doable.
In this live workshop, I’ll show you exactly how to move past sounding stiff and start understanding the kind of French you actually hear in real, human conversations.
You already have a solid foundation and I can't wait to help you take the next step.
À tantôt, mon pote!
