Meet Your French Teacher

Bonjour! Moi, c'est Natalie

I know what it’s like to feel nervous speaking French and worried you’ll sound too formal. When I first started learning French, my French was grammatically correct, but stiff, and I struggled to follow conversations with native speakers.

Later, I realized becoming fluent wasn't just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar. It's about understanding the slang and everyday language that rarely makes it into traditional French classes.

I created this workshop because slang isn't just about sounding cool or memorizing trendy words - mais non! Slang gets used by every generation and will help you feel more at home in the French you hear in France and Québec

With 13 years of experience teaching French, a BA and an MA in French, and a PhD in Second Language Acquisition, I've helped over 1,400 adult learners break out of the “textbook French” bubble and feel more at ease in real conversations.

You already have a solid foundation of les bases. In this live workshop, I'll help you take the next step toward understanding and speaking the kind of French you actually hear in real, human conversations.

À tantôt, mon pote!
